Many people resort to eating fruits for weight loss and management. Fruits are known to be a good, all-natural source of soluble fiber, Vitamin C and good fats with fewer carbohydrates. But not all fruits are created equal and it is best to know what is most beneficial for your weight loss journey.

A cup of oranges gives you 4.3 grams of dietary which is essential to weight loss by helping regularize your bowel movements. It is also packed with more than 100% of the recommended daily allowance of Vitamin C that helps boost the immune system, help repair your muscles and blood vessels especially if you have been exercising. An orange fruit has 45 calories.

7.   Pineapple

Whether you are trying to curb your sweet cravings or really trying to shed some weight, pineapple is the perfect fruit for you. It contains bromelain that aside from reducing inflammation, may support weight loss and repair muscle tears. A cup of pineapple chunks gives you 83 calories and 0.2 gram of fat.

8.   Blueberry

The rich blue-purple color of blueberries is from a substance called anthocyanin, a type of flavonoid. Flavonoids are known to help fight free radicals, reduce inflammation, and aid detoxification. Blueberries are a healthy choice for snacking and power juicing. A cup of blueberries is packed with 114 of potassium that helps boost metabolism and give you energy during exercise with just 84 calories and 0.5 gram of fat.

Fruits are nature’s gift to mankind and are always a better and healthier choice for snacks and juices. But in everyone’s weight loss journey, it is also important to be watchful of the sugar content of everything we eat, even with fruits because some contain sugar that might be too much for your recommended daily allowance.

Likewise, it is best to stick with the real fruit that on the canned ones which are already preserved in heavy syrup that contains too much sugar. Make sure to properly wash fruits properly before consuming them, because it may contain pesticides. Better yet, buy fruits from your trusted organic market.
