Aloe vera is gentle on skin and has many useful properties. It is an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial emollient that contains lots of vitamins that heal skin. Take the aloe vera and apply it directly to the scarred area twice a day. Let it soak in for about 30 minutes, then rinse off with cool water. You can use store-bought aloe vera, but for the best results use fresh directly from the aloe plant.

Coconut oil has many uses anywhere from cooking to skin care. It is an easily accessible moisturizer with healing properties such as lauric acid which is antifungal and antiviral, as well as vitamins E and K which promote the growth of new skin cells. All you need to do is take a quarter teaspoon of the coconut oil into the palm of your hand and let it melt. Once your body heat has melted the coconut oil, massage it into the skin and allow it to soak in. There is no need to rinse it off, as it continues to improve the skin the longer it stays on.

Cucumber:

The vegetable cucumber is known to be very useful when it comes to hydrating and rejuvenating the skin. It contains vitamins A and C along with magnesium that helps give a healthy look and feel. When trying this method, take a clean organic cucumber and cut it into thin slices. Place them over the scarred area and leave on for 30 minutes. Once your 30 minutes is up, rinse the skin with cool water and pat dry.

Rosehip Seed Oil:

There are lots of beneficial essential oils on the market, but one of the best ones for treating acne scars is rosehip seed oil. It contains omega 3, 6, and 9 essential fatty acids along with trans-retinoic acids, which are a natural form of vitamin A. Rosehip seed oil is known to repair and regenerate damaged skin cells.
