REVIEW- KRISHKARE ALOE VERA SKIN REPAIR GEL

Aloe Vera Gel is a popular skincare ingredient that hydrates and nourishes the skin while being extremely gentle on it. It restores the natural suppleness of the skin and calms down any redness or irritation. This is why aloe vera gel is a highly recommended herbal moisturizer for those with sensitive skin.

Today I will be reviewing the Krishkare Aloe Vera Skin Repair Gel which combines the goodness of aloe vera with anti-bacterial ingredients to rejuvenate and repair troubled skin.

Product Description

This product comes in a plastic tub with a screw-on lid and an additional plastic cap to protect the gel from spilling. I love that the brand has paid attention to the packaging and has made it spill proof and travel-friendly. The actual product is a sweet smelling gel which is almost transparent but has a slight green tinge to it.

The gel can be scooped out easily by hand and melts beautifully into the skin with gentle massaging. The brand recommends applying this gel after washing the face with luke warm water. You are supposed to apply and massage in the gel for 3-5 minutes and then remove it with a moist cotton cloth or just rinse it off with water.

It is quite affordable with an MRP of INR 199 for a 100gm tub and is usually available at a discounted price on online shopping portals such as Nykaa and Amazon.

My Experience

Coming to the performance of this skin repair gel, after rinsing my face, I noticed that my skin was incredibly soft. I have used various products that impart softness to the skin but none as potent as this one. Apart from being baby soft, my skin also looked more radiant and supple right after the first use.

After a few weeks of usage, I also noticed a slight reduction in the redness of the patches on my face, probably due to the anti bacterial and anti oxidant action of the gel.

The major downside of this product for me is the fact that it contains parabens, which somewhat defeats the purpose of using herbal ingredients. The product would have received full marks from me had it not contained any parabens or fragrance, but performance wise, it has still managed to impress me.

To conclude, I would suggest that if you are suffering from irritated and dry skin then the Krishkare Skin Repair Gel can be beneficial for you by providing instant results. However, if you are someone who prefers to use all natural products that are paraben free, then this formula is definitely not meant for you and you can try to make your own aloe vera gel at home instead.

I sincerely hope that the brand is able to come up with a new, paraben free version of this product because then I will definitely buy another tub.

Note- One note of caution from my end is to keep the gel away from the eye area while application because the strong scent irritated my eyes a little. In fact, this sweet scent may annoy some people who are not a big fan of fragranced products.
