Proteins,consisting of one or more long chains of amino acid residues.many of which our body can’t produce on its own.Proteins perform a vast array of functions within organisms,including catalyzing metabolic reactions,DNA replication,responding to stimuli, and transporting molecules from one location to another.So it doesn’t matter if you want to lose fat, build muscle,or just want to be healthy and well-functioning human being.Your daily protein intake plays an important role in allowing all of that to happen properly.
